If you need to do something different
with your chicken then try this recipe. It's fantastic. Of course it tastes much better with our own Bassa Bassa sauce!







Bassa Bassa Chicken

4 Chicken Drumsticks
4 Chicken Thighs
1 tbsp. Seasoned salt
1 six ounce jar BASSA BASSA SAUCE or tamarind sauce


Wash and clean chicken pieces removing any excess skin and fat. Pat dry then coat generously with the seasoned salt. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the chicken pieces in an oven-proof dish and bake for 30 minutes. Baste each piece with BASSA BASSA SAUCE and return to the oven for a further 15 minutes. The chicken can also be grilled over glowing coals. Baste frequently with Bassa Bassa or Tamarind Sauce.
