Curry Channa |

Method Soak channa in water overnight. Wash and drain and put into a pressure cooker. Add 3 pints salted water and pressure for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a wok or large saucepan heat the oil then stir fry the onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add the cumin, curry powder and pepper sauce. Stir twice then pour in the channa. Adjust seasonings to taste. Continue to stir fry for a few minutes until the onion is cooked. |
